Comeau’s is searching for hard-working, reliable and enthusiastic applicants to join the Comeau team. Located at our main Comeau location, Production Workers support a variety of Comeau’s product lines such as; Scallop grading, Scallop Packaging, Smokehouse, and Value-Added food production facilities. All of our facilities maintain the highest level of hygiene and safety protocols to ensure both our products and employees are always safe. These roles are part of the critical hub that ensures the smooth operation of all our processing and as such, we will provide all the necessary hands-on training needed to do the job well and to the high-quality standard our clients have come to expect.

The seafood processing production crew works as a tight-knit team to receive, process, pack and prepare seafood products to receive, process, pack and prepare seafood products. This requires the successful candidate to be attentive to detail to ensure quality standards are met. You will be committed to your role and quick to respond as needed are the required skills to be successful.

Good verbal communication skills to maintain open dialogue with supervisor, and fellow Comeau’s Employees

Must also be able to climb, kneel, reach, crouch, crawl or work in confined spaces.
Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Reporting To: Production Supervisor

Working Schedule: 8:00am to 5:00pm. Hours of work vary based on production needs. Some evenings & weekends during peak season. (Overtime hours available)

Additional Requirements: Legally able to work in Canada, Bondable

Flexible Language Requirement: French not required
